Case Studies
Three IT and workplace transformations delivered across Belgium and Europe — numbers, decisions, and lessons.

How Clear Channel Belgium Lifted Its National DOOH Network From 75% to 99% Availability
Clear Channel Belgium runs the largest digital out-of-home advertising network in the country. When campaign teams sell impressions, they sell uptime. In 2016 the national digital network was sitting at roughly 75% availability — meaning one screen out of four was either dark, frozen, or stuck on the wrong creative at any given moment. Over thirty months, we rebuilt the operating model around the iConic and CityPlay platforms, trained internal and partner teams on Broadsign, and structured an emergency procedure for city-mandated messages. Availability climbed to 99% and stayed there, while a brand-new 100-display CityPlay network was rolled out across Brussels.
Keeping 18 Veterinary Clinics Online: IT Support That Doesn't Interrupt Animal Care
AniCura is one of Europe's largest veterinary networks — roughly 500 clinics across 15 countries, looking after 4.5 million-plus pets a year. The network entered Belgium in 2020 and kept expanding, reaching the 18 clinics I supported during the engagement. In a clinic, an IT outage isn't just an inconvenience — it directly delays consultations, surgical scheduling and emergency care. Over twenty-one months I delivered hands-on and remote support across the 18 sites with a workplace stack built on Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, TeamTel, Unify, CrowdStrike Falcon and 3CX, plus the diagnostic boundary where workplace IT meets veterinary medical imaging (Antech, DICOM, PACS-style exchange). Each clinic was followed and audited regularly in partnership with TeamTel (Zaventem). AniCura belongs to Mars Veterinary Health (~3,000 clinics and ~70,000 associates worldwide, alongside sister brands such as Banfield, BluePearl and Linnaeus), which made multi-country peer review — with IT counterparts in the Netherlands and Sweden — a natural part of the operating model.
Etex Group Headquarters: 100% Smart Workplace Migration as the Group's First Reference Site
Etex is a global high-tech construction group headquartered in Zaventem (Belgium) with operations across Europe, the Americas and Asia. As Regional Service Delivery Engineer, I led the migration of the Zaventem HQ to 100% Smart Workplace devices — Windows 10 + Microsoft 365 + Intune-managed — making it the group's first reference site for the rollout. In parallel, I coordinated the deployment of Cisco Meraki networking and Logitech RoomMate meeting rooms, ran Level-2 support with Problem/Incident/Change discipline, and held the asset and Active Directory management for the site.

Proximus Emerging Business: Infonet, a Department Knowledge Base That Published in Real Time
Proximus' Emerging Business unit was the B2B front line for new data products — corporate and SME connectivity, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the early mobile-data stack — in a telecom market expanding faster than its documentation. As B2B Emerging Business Specialist I ran 1st-line B2B data support plus 2nd-line technical and VIP support, and built Infonet, a server-based phpBB knowledge base, so the department could publish procedures, findings and field tips in real time, rather than queueing them behind the corporate intranet team.
